Flamingos and Honey is first and foremost, A Florida Bakery. Operating from our local Southwest Florida farmer’s markets, we specialize in creating familiar treats with great precision. All of our products are handcrafted in small batches with quality ingredients, sourcing from our local farms as much as possible. We celebrate seasonal ingredients and use no artificial flavors or additives.
A portion of our proceeds go right back into Florida, the state we love. We believe in a strong community, and always supporting it.
Florida-native and owner, Lorena Inostroza, is a classically trained Pastry Chef. Having earned her degree at the Florida Culinary Institute, Lorena has worked in several prominent restaurants throughout the east coast of Florida, eventually landing an Executive Pastry Chef position at a leading Miami restaurant. After years of developing and executing tony plated desserts, Lorena yearned to return to her first love, home baking. Because if there’s one thing she’s certain of, it’s that anything can be accomplished with the help of a good cookie!
