I come from a very European family, so lasagna recipes were never quick and easy.
Some days, I just need quick and simple recipes so here it is!
Easy Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Jars of your favorite Marinara Sauce
2 Pounds of ground beef
1 Package of lasagna noodles
2 Cups of Cottage Cheese
2 Cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
16 Ounces of Sour Cream
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a large pan over medium heat, brown meat until no longer pink inside. Drain excess liquids. Add jars of sauce to cooked meat and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the Parmesan Cheese, Cottage Cheese, and Sour Cream. Mix well and set aside.
- In a 9X13 pan, spread one cup of the sauce mix on the bottom of the pan. Layer with lasagna noodles and spread another cup of sauce mix on top of the noodles.
- Add one cup of shredded Mozzarella Cheese, and then half of the sour cream mixture.
- Add another layer of lasagna noodles, followed by another cup of the sauce mix, another cup of the mozzarella cheese, and then the remaining sour cream mixture.
- Finally, add one more layer of lasagna noodles and the rest of the sauce mix on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes covered, then uncover, add Parmesan cheese to the top and bake for another 20 minutes. Or until noodles are soft.
- Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
