Homemade Pie Day is August 1st, so of course we had to partake and make a delicious pie!
I hope you and your family enjoy this recipe as much as we did.
Ingredients:
Graham Cracker Pie Crust
8 Ounces of Cream Cheese
1 Cup of Powdered Sugar
1 Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Toppings: Reeses Cups, Reeses Pieces, and Chocolate Drizzle
How to make the Peanut Butter Pie:
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, and the peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream until thick and light. Add in the remaining powdered sugar and vanilla extract and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. Pour into the pie shell and freeze for 3 hours or chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
- Toppings: Right before serving, add your chopped Reeses, Reeses Pieces, and drizzle some chocolate on top! Enjoy!
